Chablis and his universe are halfway between Beaune and Paris, on the road to the sun. We discover its vineyards, at the gateway to Burgundy.
Around 1850, JohannéGeoffroy extended the estate to the communes of Beine and La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, in the heart of the Chablis vineyards.
Inthe meantime, Geoffroy had the property upgraded to the level of an Estate. A worthy heir of all generations, he has managed to preserve its family and traditional character.
Theestate has 50 hectares in production, the whole family works to develop the estate and has surrounded itself with a dynamic team to produce, in accordance with tradition, fresh and fruity Chablis wines with a beautiful mineral imprint.
Vinificationis done in stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness and typicity of the Chablis wines. And the wines made from old vines are vinified in oak barrels. Bottling is done exclusively at the Domaine.
Fromthe time the grapes enter the winery until bottling, each step is carefully monitored. The objective is to produce wines with finesse and elegance while respecting the typicity of this unique terroir.
